The biggest thing that I learned is that if you go into every situation with no preconceived notions or expectations you can do ANYTHING! I feel that as humans we cause our own fears or let downs because the even didn’t turn out exactly the way we expected them to but by realizing that you are doing it to experience something new there is no possible let down because as long as I did something for the first time I WON!

“Embrace each day with a “YES!” – to change, new opportunities, and, most importantly, to yourself. Begin every morning with gratitude, reflecting on the countless blessings in your life. Dare to challenge the conventional and push your own boundaries, making room for growth and knowledge. The efforts you invest will yield even more rewarding outcomes.”  -Laura Brandao

#1 Best Seller new releases Nov 2020! 14 Mortgage Executive women came together to share there professional journeys and the lessons they learned along the way.

I have always been goal-oriented and one of my goals was to write a book, as with any goal you must have a target date and I decided to pick a milestone birthday as my target. As the target started to grow closer I realized that although I have an amazing life, I married my high-school sweetheart, I raised 2 wonderful men and I built a successful business BUT in doing so I have kept very inside my world. So, I decided to start saying YES to situations that I normally wouldn’t.

It all started with being asked to moderate a panel discussion at a conference. Since then I have moderated 8 panels, been an expert panelist 7 times, I have been a podcast guest 19 times and a keynote speaker at the Bellagio in Vegas speaking to an audience of almost 2000 attendees twice, all in less than 12 months. On July 11, 2019 I decided to start my Say yes everyday blog, at the end of everyday I reflect on what I said yes to today, sometimes it’s a big thing and sometimes it’s something very basic but remember that doesn’t matter it’s just the fact that I said YES.

“When I write it is 100% from the heart and I never review it or go back to double check it because it may cause me to second guess myself and get scared about putting it out to the world.”
